Aflac Group Enrollment Ends June 30th

The MEA Aflac enrollment website is still open, but it will close on June 30, 2016. No new applications will be accepted after June 30th. This means that the guaranteed issue availability will also expire on June 30 and future enrollments may require medical questions that can deny an applicant from enrolling.

All MEA members are encouraged to visit the Aflac enrollment website prior to June 30th to review any recent enrollment changes or to make any final changes to their FY17 applications. Please note that if you do not want to make any changes to your FY16 Aflac plans, you do not need to do anything.

Last reminder regarding Guaranteed Issue:

Guaranteed Issue (GI): The Accident and Hospital plans do not require you to answer any medical questions. The Critical Illness plan is only GI for $10,000. However, if you had the Critical Illness plan last year, you are eligible for a $10,000 upgrade without any medical questions (up to the $30,000 max).

What do current policyholders say?

Aflac is a great insurance that I highly recommend. I recently had a medical procedure and not only did Will assist me in submitting the correct paperwork but Aflac direct deposited the benefit funds owed to me within two weeks’ time!!

Thanks,
