MEA’s Website: Not Sure How to Register? We’ll Show You How!

In order to make MEA elections more convenient and accessible to all members, we will be transitioning to an online voting system. If you have not registered on MEA’s website, please do so by taking a moment and following these easy steps.

STEP 1: Go to www.sdmea.org

STEP 2: On the right hand side there is a log in area, click on register.

STEP 3: The next page will require some information in order to identify you in our system. You will need to enter the following:

Last 4 digits of your social security number

Date of birth (this must be in the MM/DD/YY format)

First Name (as it appears in the OneSD SAP system)

Last Name (as it appears in the OneSD SAP system)

STEP 4: Click Next

STEP 5: The next page will ask you to set up a username and password.

Username – this can be anything you like.

(Some people use their OneSD username, but please note that it is not connected to OneSD.)

Password – You must enter a password of 6 characters or more.

STEP 6: Click Next

STEP 7: The next page will ask you to set up a security question. This question will be used if you forget your password.

Question – select one of the pre-set questions.

Response – Please enter your response to the question selected.

STEP 8: Click Next

STEP 9: Finish Page – click on fi nish and the system will log you in.

MEA’s upcoming Negotiations Team election will be conducted online, so please make sure your username and password are confirmed. If you encounter any diffi culties with registering, please contact MEA at 619-264-6632.
