MEA’s Summer Picnic is back for 2026! Come join us for summer fun!

Dear MEA Members,

We are excited to announce this year’s MEA Summer Picnic! Come and join us to celebrate 100 Years of MEA!!

When:                  Saturday, June 27, 2026

Where:                DeAnza Cove Picnic Shelter in Mission Bay, 3000 North Mission Bay Drive

Time:                    11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Tickets:               The MEA Summer Picnic is free to MEA members and their families with an RSVP.

RSVP required by emailing membership@sdmea.org by 4pm on Wednesday, June 24.

In the email, please provide the names of MEA members attending and how many family members you are bringing (how many adults, how many children).

 Details:

• Hamburgers & hotdogs
• Jumpies, face painting, games, and other activities for both adults and kids
• Ice cream truck – 12pm to 2pm
• Music
• Raffle Prizes
• Giveaways
• 100 Year MEA giveaways

Please bring your own chairs, blankets, and shade (umbrellas, pop ups, etc.).

Note:

• No alcohol or glass containers allowed at the park.
• No dogs are allowed at the park.
