Celebrating 100 Years of MEA – Watch the MEA Centennial Video
The MEA Centennial Video premiered at the General Membership Meeting earlier this month. Produced in collaboration with KPBS, the video celebrates some of the most important issues accomplished by MEA members working together for the last 100 years. . .the pension, employer-sponsored health insurance, the wages, hours, and working conditions fought for and won in all of the Memorandums of Understandings over the years, and so much more. For 100 years, MEA has provided members with a voice in the workplace.
None of these things have come easily but when members stand together, we can achieve great things. Thank you for what we’ve accomplished so far, and here’s to another 100 years.
Since 1926, founded by City employees, for City employees. Happy 100th Anniversary MEA!
