FY17 – VSP Vision Plan Effective 8/1/16
August 1, 2016 kicks off the new FY17 benefit year. As of today, all vision plan participants with an August 1 effective date have been loaded into the VSP system and can access services.
It is important to note that VSP does not mail out ID cards to participants, nor do you need an ID card to access services. To find a VSP provider on the Choice Network, please go to www.vsp.com or call VSP at 800.877.7195. Once you have chosen your provider, simply make an appointment and tell the provider that you have VSP.
Also, if you visit www.vsp.com and register, you can access a wide range of online tools which include finding a provider, viewing your benefits and submitting an out-of-network claim. For those participants who prefer to have an ID card, you can even print out ID cards online. VSP online also offers rebates and special savings for glasses, sunglasses, contact lenses and more!
