The Most Comprehensive Group Aflac Plan

Aflac offers amazing plans that provide many valuable benefits. Two of the most popular are the Group Accident plan and the Critical Illness plan. The Accident plan pays benefits to policyholders in the event of an accidental injury, but excludes injuries due to overuse or wear and tear. The Critical Illness plan offers great benefits to those who suffer a heart attack or who are diagnosed with cancer, but does not offer benefits for the smaller, more common illnesses. That is where the Group Hospital plan fits in. It pays benefits for many other procedures and physician visits.

The Aflac Group Hospital plan offers the most comprehensive benefits.

The Aflac Group Hospital Indemnity plan is the third plan offered, and the best all-around plan Aflac has ever offered. This comprehensive plan offers benefits for visits and treatments related to covered illnesses, and injuries that occur off the job. Policyholders can receive payments for visits for: Doctor visits, Urgent Care Visits, Emergency Room Visits, Surgeries, Prescriptions, Hospitalization, and more

Your major medical insurance tends to cover many of the medical expenses related to a hospital stay, surgery, an emergency room or doctor office visit. Yet even with a great health insurance plan, you may be left with out-of-pocket expenses or lost income, especially if you miss work. The Group Hospital Indemnity policy from Aflac can help provide a financial cushion while you and your family recover.

Example visits: Ear Infections, Stomach Pain, Appendectomy, Tonsillitis, Plantar Fasciitis, Pneumonia, Hysterectomy, Kidney Stones and more

Members may choose from two different plan types, Plan 2 or Plan 4, with Plan 4 offering larger benefits. Both plans are guaranteed issue, if you are currently working and your spouse is able to work; you cannot be denied.

We encourage all of our current Aflac policyholders to contact us anytime they see a doctor. Whether they have suffered an injury, were recently ill, or simply just have a question regarding their coverage, we want them to feel free to contact us. The Group Hospital Indemnity plan covers more situations than any other group plan, so it’s important that policyholders take advantage of all the benefits they are entitled to.
